Slumped Vases are handmade, one at a time, by Justin and Andi at Esque in Portland, OR. This makes each one individually unique, and also means that yours won’t match exactly what’s pictured.
These vases are made from recycled glass stock and processed in a furnace that’s powered by wind energy. So they’re not only beautiful to look at, they’re among the most sustainably made glass products available.

Korean Designer Wonsuk Cho has designed a series of lights based on the light box commonly used to examine X-Ray film.
These whimsical lights are created by taking X-rays of single incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. The images are subsequently mounted onto small black boxes which hang from the ceiling and once illuminated reveal their skeletal structure.
The X-Ray lights look particularly striking when placed in a group. Each light ships with 2 x-ray bulb designs.

Based on railway engineer Hans Hilfiker’s 1940s classic, the Swiss Railway Station Clock is a standard throughout European train stations, with over 3,000 clocks keeping precision time.
The straightforward black and white face with a red second hand is easy to read from a distance. Made by Mondaine with a brushed steel case and German clock movement, the clock was included in the Museum’s Tempo exhibition. One AA battery is required (not included) for the 10″ clock. Two AA batteries are required for the 15.75″ clock, which can also be run using the included AC adapter.
